First, some good news. (Probably needed after my last POST) Ethan's surgery today went well. He's now at 8 mm which was his goal. They will continue to stretch it to make sure it stays there. Tina, Carol, and brother Kevin are with him now and he's doing well.
I'm stuck at the Detroit airport after missing my connection due to the incompetent people at Delta airlines here. Our plane landed with enough time to catch my flight, but there was no ground crew there to unboard our plane. I still made it to the gate 10 minutes before the scheduled departure only to find the gate locked and to be told they wont hold a plane (apparently even if its their screw up) for just one passenger. The moron did have the nerve to use the excuse that its not his call when to close the gate. (Way to take ownership buddy!).
My already too short weekend with my family was further shortened by incompetent airline personnel. Such is life right now. Whoever's got the hex on us right now....enough already!
Oh well, this too shall pass. Thanks for all the support and offers for help. We are truly blessed to have such caring family and friends.
