Everybody's Working for the Weekend

Hello,

It's Friday, and that means I get to come home and see Tina and the boys for the weekend. I'm actually in the Manchester Airport now waiting on my flight. I can't wait to get back and be with my family again.

This week had it's ups and downs as obvious from my last blog. The boys have had a couple of good days late this week. Ethan gained .7 oz. (hey, it's something) in the last two days. The downside is we were told Kevin will not be able to come home this weekend as originally planned. He has switched doctors today, and the new doctor doesn't think it's a good idea to send him home when he's been having a "brady" once a day.

They tell us the brady's aren't a big deal overall, and that all preemies have them. He's only had them right after he eats and it's due to reflux. They want him to go 3-5 days without one before they send him home. Bummer.

Ethan's hanging tough. The kid is strong. Nothing new to report there for once. He did excabate himself again on Thursday, but they got him back under control. Hopefully he'll gain some weight so we can get his surgeries scheduled.

It's been a tough ride, and doesn't really show signs of getting easier at this point. However, the boys are making progress bit by bit. We are going to talk with the doctors more about moving Ethan to Boston. We want to get our family all together out in New Hampshire.

Gotta run, the plane's leaving without me.
