"Big News" please pray for Ethan

Good morning everyone,

I've been slacking on the blog. I'm back in New Hampshire, and Tina and the boys are in Columbus still. I've been flying back and forth on the weekeneds, working during the week, and painting our new house in the evenings. It's a wild life let me tell you.

BIG NEWS: I talked to the nurse this morning. They are planning on doing Ethan's esophageal surgery tomorrow (Friday 27th). They don't know what time it will be yet, but he's big enough now where they want to do the surgery. Please pray for our little boy. I'm very hopeful that he will thrive once the surgery is done, but there's always a risk.

Kevin hasn't had a brady in the last 4 days. They were going to send him home tomorrow too, but they reconsidered when they found out Ethan was going to have his surgery. That's too much in one day, so they are thinking about doing it on Saturday.

I was supposed to fly back to CMH tomorrow night at 9:30, but got on an earlier flight for tonight instead so I can be there tomorrow.

Thanks so much to everyone for the prayers and support. We couldn't do it without you all.

Much love,

Ryan, Tina, Ethan, and Kevin

UPDATE:

The surgery is scheduled for 2pm tomorrow. It should be about a 3 hour surgery but could go longer. I'm sitting at Reagan Airport on my ocnnection home looking out the window at the Washington Monument. A good friend of our, Mitch Wilson, just sent me this awesome picture of my family. Thanks Mitch!
