Our first blog comes 9 days after Tina was admitted to Riverside Methodist Hospital to keep an eye on our babies growing inside her. The days are long and uneventful now (not that we are complaining). The quiet is good.
She will be in the hospital until our little boys (Ethan Charles, and Kevin Joseph) are born. Tina's water broke from around Ethan a week ago Saturday, but since then things have been relatively quiet. We are currently at 28 weeks and 2 days. Each day at this point is a little victory. Our new goal is 29 weeks which will be on Thursday.
Tina is doing well, and hasn't had any pain up to this point. Hopefully things stay that way for a few more weeks. My company (I started a new job June 1) has been great with working with our situation to this point. I've been able to stay at the hospital with Tina all this past week. The couch in the room isn't that confortable, but at least I get to be by my babies (Tina included!). I have my work laptop here, so I am able to keep up with going ons around the office.
We are packing up our house in Upper Arlington on July 12th to move out East. We have put an offer on a house in Pembroke, NH, and have a verbal agreement to purchase. It's been very stressful trying to get that agreement signed in writing. The house is a foreclosure so we are dealing with a bank, which isn't always easy.
Please pray for Tina and the boys, and hopefully they will stay on the inside for a few more weeks to continue to develop. I'll keep posting updates on here, as we have plenty of time during the day.
Cheers,
Ryan
