We could not be happier to have our Ethan home with us tonight! We had a very smooth discharge from the hospital today. Ethan said all his goodbyes to nurses, doctors and friends and we got on the road home just before 3pm. He and Kevin got reacquainted very quickly and chased each other around the house all evening. He was very tuckered out by 7pm and went to sleep very easily. He is doing very well and is back to all of his baseline medically. We still have a bronchoscopy in the near future, but right now we are just happy to await it at home and not in the hospital. Thank you to everyone for all your love and support, it is what got us through this very difficult time. We are looking forward to an uneventful (medically) summer where we can just enjoy being together as a family. We have lots of visitors coming in the next few weeks and could not be happier! Ethan's Godmother (my sister Liz) will get here Sunday and we are thrilled about it!
