Swing, Swing, Swing
Hello,
Hope everyone is enjoying the end of the summer. I can't believe that September is almost here!! We are getting ready for fall and trying to get our basement in order now that Kristen has moved out. We miss her a lot around here!! My sister Liz has come to visit us and has been such a huge help! We have all enjoyed having her around and will miss her greatly! We can't thank her enough for all her help and her patience!!
Things with Ethan have not changed much since our last post. He started getting sick over a week ago as did I. Unfortunately, we still have not recovered. It seems this bug is very persistant. We have not needed to get him any special medical attention and have been able to keep him comfortable at home which has been very nice. We hope that we can recover soon from this virus so we can get back to enjoying this beautiful weather.
We survived Irene unscathed and in her path she has left us with some of the best weather we have had. The boys are loving being outside and it is not too hot for Ethan! We took them to the park today and Ethan went on a swing for the first time. Needless to say, he thoroughly enjoyed himself. We even got him down a slide a time or two. Both the boys had so much fun, as did we watching them. I have posted a video below from our day! Check out Ethan's crazy legs about half way through the video.
After Liz leaves we will prepare for the long weekend which we will celebrate at home with neighbors. The following weekend Grandma Suzy will come to visit!!! We are so excited and feel so blessed to have so many visitors.
We have submitted our final appeal to the insurance company for Ethan's flight to Boston and it is currently under external review by an independent company. We are hopeful, but have no idea what the outcome will be. It is out of our hands now.
Thank you to everyone for your continued thoughts and prayers, we are so lucky to have such amazing support from friends and family.
Love, Tina, Ryan, Ethan and Kevin
